The Oracle (oraclemap.com)
What we collect
To cast your chart, The Oracle needs your birth date, birth time, and birthplace, plus the locations you ask about (including, if you allow it, your device's precise location). We also store your email address for sign-in. We also record which screens you open, when, and how long you stay, so we can see which parts of the app help and which do not. That is first party and stays here: no analytics profiles sold or shared, no advertising identifiers, no contact uploads, and no third party analytics service. Those usage records carry no birth data and no reading text, and they are deleted with your account. If you add another person's birth details to compare charts, those details are stored under your account only, are never used to contact anyone, and are deleted with your account. If you send voice feedback, the recording is stored privately and transcribed so we can improve the product; it never becomes part of anyone's readings.
Where it goes
Your data is stored in our database (Supabase) and processed by the services that run The Oracle: Vercel (app hosting), Render (calculation engine), Anthropic (generating your readings), OpenAI (text search indexing), Resend (sign-in email), Open-Meteo (turning a place you search for into coordinates), and BigDataCloud (turning your device location back into a city name, from a position rounded to roughly a kilometre so it never carries a street address). Each receives only what its role requires. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.
About your readings
Readings are generated by an AI system grounded in the published teachings and recorded consultations of the astrologer whose framework The Oracle uses, applied to your computed chart. They are interpretive guidance, not statements of fact about your future. Nothing in The Oracle is medical, financial, or legal advice; health-related passages describe an interpretive tradition, not a diagnosis. Decisions that matter deserve professional advice.
Deleting your account
Email us and we will delete your account and every row of your data (birth data, locations, charts, readings) from the live database. Backups age out on the infrastructure providers' standard schedules.
